Yeah. He played very well tonight. Rebounded, altered shots, made lay-ups, used his fouls wisely, that’s all we need out of his every night. Someone off the bench to give quality minutes. Good game for everyone. Everyone contributed and played hard. Webster is a good team too. Will make a deep tournament run.

Webster needs to show that press more. Ran back on burg with it and ran it back on valley down 14 back to three.

Valley def had a chance to put it out of reach. But Webster made it a game. If valley hit free throws late it’s not as close. But as said, Webster is a good match up for valley. Two good teams went at it. Good game to watch.

Two very solid D4 teams! Fun to watch. Valley was definitely the better team tonight.

Would love to see these two meet up in a district final!

Very enjoyable game to attend.

Impressed with Valley’s enthusiastic spirit and overall team chemistry. You can tell there’s been an infusion of energy and sometimes you get addition from subtraction. Their weakness is lack of depth but if the refs allow them to play they are definitely in good enough shape to go 32 minutes.

It was 53-39 with 5:45 to go and I thought it might end up 20+ but then it was 53-47 with 4:50 to go and anyones game. South Webster missed some opportunities down the stretch and Valley missed some free throws but I think the better team won tonight.

The SOC is going to be fun this year.

Well said. If valley can get quality minutes out of 25 and one or two more kids. Just a minute or two each quarter, they will be in a better position come tournament time. But very good game to watch. Good basketball all around.

It was a fun game to watch on the web. The guys calling the game were very informative and knowledgeable in their analysis. They did an awesome job throughout the game.

Absolutely! Wouldn't surprise me if they win the league.

Fido: Marc Kreischer and Ryan Fenton were on the call tonight. Both former head coaches at Webster (Fenton was also an assistant coach at Valley last year) and very knowledgeable of the game.

Fun game to watch. Valley’s pressure sped Webster up all night and led to a poor shooting night for the Jeeps. Buckle really impressed me for Valley. Got a feeling these 2 teams will meet up again not just in regular season, but also deep in the D4 tourney.*

Agreed. Buckle has been playing well. Arnett and copley have been solid as well. Nickel hit some big shots today and Stewart is tough at the point of the press and offensive boards. He needs to stay out of foul trouble though. But very good game all around.

They are as good as any I've heard call a game.

Kreischer is a phenomenal coach. There may never be another South Webster squad as good as his
