… apparently no one on the board is going to the scrimmages ? … I won't get to see the Chiefs again until the final scrimmage vs Logan Elm … I will be traveling to Fairfield Union next Saturday to catchup with the Warren Warriors vs FU … I believe there is a 3rd team in the mix next Saturday as well … I'll check my napkins to see if I have it written down …

Pfloyd...Johnstown was also at the scrimmage today at New Albany. I don't believe Logan won any of the quarters they played all day, which isn't necessarily bad. New Albany and Grove City both have great basketball programs. I believe Johnstown made it to the state tournament last year as well. I don't know much about the scrimmage yesterday with Waverly/Portsmouth though.

Wffan … looking forward to seeing all 3 of those teams before the official season gets underway - Warren, FU, and Westfall … with ZT & Grandview still in the football playoffs , there might be some changes in the ZT Tip Off Classic scheduled for the 27th … Westfall may end up playing Berne Union is a possibility … we'll wait and see …

Spoke to an assistant coach Saturday night and Logan played well Friday night at Waverly and did the things that were important. Saturday Logan played some very tough competition and didnt play their best basketball. Logan split with Johnstown but didnt play well vs Grove City. Thats about as much as I was able to get.

In the scrimmage with Portsmouth at Waverly, the Chieftains lost to the Trojans in the 1st quarter 17-5, then beat the Trojans 9-7 and 10-6 in the last 2 quarters. Logan has good size, and judging from what I saw, Lane Little and Isaiah Smith appear to be their 2 best players. Coach Kellough played a lot of kids off the bench. I think he is a great hire for LHS.

The Chieftains beat Waverly 2 out of 3 quarters.

I think that Logan has a good shot of reaching 15 wins in the regular season.

Making progress. Good ball movement. Defense looking good . Need to finish better around the post area but that should come. Should be an enjoyable year playing a good schedule . Go Chieftains !!!!

Won a little under half the quarters I believe. Didn't pay too much attention to the scores of all the quarters. But it was split nearly down the middle.

Moon , I've known you for decades and did not know you were that knowledgeable about basketball or anything from the ankles up . Coach K is the one that will be doing the schooling this year. Boys are working hard so lets be civil and respect their efforts. Hope to see you at some games this year.
