I went to this game because I wanted to see how the Lions would respond without coach Williams. It was also facing their former coach, which I'm sure gave both teams a little motivation. I thought Fairfield played tight and timid first half. They definitely turned up the heat in the second half holding Hillsboro to 4 points in the 3rd and only 13 second half points. Trey House dominated the 3rd and set the tone. Larkin Friend was his usual pretty much almost a triple double machine. The McIntosh kid played well second half as well. Number 31 I think Miller kept them in the first half. Overall a nice when against a DII school, without your head coach on the road. I'm sure you made coach Williams proud!

Why was HC absent, like watching him. The guy is intense and never stops coaching!

He got 2 technicals in the North Adams game.

Trimble 59 Southern 58. Southern was down over 20 in 1st half, cut it to around 12 at half, and eventually led by 5 with about 3 minutes to go. Missed FT’s by SHS and Trimble hit a big 3 with about 12 seconds to go to give them the 1 pt win. Southern missed a pretty good shot off a drive and kick out at the end.

My boy took it easy on his son last night. He is sving up on the stomp and the stare till tournament time. He wants to bottle up that mojo to make that one last run at Trimble before he moves on to some greener pastures.
