Oak hill defeats Minford DEC. 14

Oak Hill holds the ball from around a minute down to 15 seconds game tied at 48-48..Oak Hill calls a timeout Kyle Ondera dribble and drives kicks out to Jesse Slone who shoots the three but misses and a rebound by Ryan Borden who double clutched it in as time expires to win the game!!

50-48 OAK HILL GO OAKS!!!

Copley at Minford is the best coach in the SOC! Sorry, Norm. Minford doesn't have near the talent that Oak Hill has and to play such a tight game is just astounding.

Congratulations to Oak Hill on the Win. The Falcons have nothing to hang their heads about. They've played the class of the SOC and performed very well. They are building a program that should be strong for years to come.

I disagree with Minfords coach being better than Norm. Our boys didn't play very good last night. I question a coaching call at the end of the game. Why didnt minford foul? Not on the shot, but they had a foul to give. Why not foul and make it tough for us to get the ball in bounds. Just a question though. GO NORM AND GO OAKS!

I agree crazee. If coach copley is the best coach in the league why doesnt he foul on the drive and make the oaks take the ball out with around 4 seconds left? Give credit to minford they played an excellent game. Oak Hill didnt have the best of night though. But still managed to pull out the win. Shows how coach persin is a better coach because he knows how to win the clutch games.

Tonight may not attest for Pierson...he kept pulling Borden out in the finla 2 minutes for defense (according to radio)...now Borden had 4 fouls.....but I've seen the kid cause fits for the opposing pt guard..he can play defense...was it just to keep him from getting his 5th for a possible OT.....nonetheless Hale had 4 fouls and never took him out late for defense.

Also didn't call a T.O with the ball fpr the final shot.......this is more of a hindsight thought as it didn't work and the ball was tied up without a shot getting off and then they lost on a buzzer-beater.
