Waverly may have lost the game but I feel they have something to build on from this game. They went out and gave it all they had and despite the hot shooting from the burg still only lost the game by three in OT. As the team starts to gel in the second half of the season they will win these types of games. Next up the Holiday classic lets go and win it.

Very good JV game too. Freshman, Eddie Miller hit the game winner at the buzzer! This was especially impressive because Dillan Miller did not play in the JV game. Dillan played in the varsity game to give Barrick some added depth on the bench with Ballard being out sick. Hopefully Webb will be back for the Portsmouth game.

It was nice to see the Pirates win without their second-leading scorer in the line up. The positive was to see that others stepped up their game and that they did not give up even when down by 4 points with 32 seconds remaining in the game. But Waverly played a heck of a game also with excellent shooting. Harrison Martin was 10 of 14 (71%) from the field.
