How did the scrimmages with Portsmouth Notre Dame and Glenwood go?

Lancers won 3 of 5 quarters vs PND and looked very good. Last week vs Glenwood the Lancers had 2 bad quarters but played well the other 3 winning 2 of 5. Saturday they were at Huntington and led both 20 min half's by 6 or 7 but with a ton of silly turnovers lost both by like 5. Fed's JV team has played very well so far. They won all 5 at ND and won the most quarters vs Glenwood and won both at Huntington.
Thanks!

The Ironmen take on Paint Valley and Chesapeake tonight at 6 pm in Jackson. Last tune up before the season starts. Had a real good scrimmage preseason so far. Anxious to get the season started Friday night.

PV looked winded a bit playing back to back. Backcourt zone pressure took PV out of rhythm

Real good quarter for the Jackson bench players. Gonna need those kids all year!

I92 ! Chesapeake looks like they did ok tonight vs both the Ironmen and PV ? ... scores were much closer than I thought they might end up - was this due to lots of bench players seeing action for JHS & PV with starters staying in for the 'Peake ?

Peake very active and got every loose ball. Well coached and will compete. The final quarter vs Jackson both teams used bench kids a lot. The next to last quarter Jackson had 2-3 starters out the entire quarter. Jackson gave good minutes to their #8 kid who needs varsity time to get better acclimated. He did just fine too.

PV wasn’t great against pressure. They had a nice 6’3 bigger kid hitting shots and cutting in for buckets from Swingle. Swingle didn’t impose his will like he will. As is...Peake looked better than PV
