Instead of debating the quality of win or not, I am simply going to congratulate the boys from Beaver for representing the SOC very well and showing why they are currently sitting with only one loss on their resume. Anytime one of the Southeastern Ohio schools can beat a Columbus City school I will take it!
I commend Eastern for putting a team like Africentric on their schedule and this will pay dividends simply for the exposure of speed and play style they faced. To be honest, I couldn't be prouder of the Eagles and hope they take this momentum into the tourney trail.

Africentric is a quality win imo..Eastern also has wins over (pfloyds rankings)#7 Fairland,#9Western 3x,#14 Eastern Brown,#22Waverly,#27New Boston,#31Green 2x. Lone loss coming to #14 Oak Hill.That is 11 of there games,all quality opponents..also have wins over Valley,Clay,SV,East2x,ND 2x.
Great season to this point.

A quality win for Eastern and kudos to Coach Barrick for rescheduling it to make sure this game is played. If they can win the district in D3, this is typically the type of opponent SE Ohio teams run into. A great test and good preparation for tournament time.

Congratulations to the Eagles and Coach Barrick on the win.......Africentric plays a tough schedule......this win should not be undervalued......the Nubians play a schedule that anybody in the SE district would have trouble with. Eastern is looking more and more like a Sweet 16 team.

Africentric beat D1 Walnut Ridge (14-3) tonight to give WR there third loss..WR only had losses to D2 #3 ranked Columbus South(15-1) 48-44 and undefeated D1 #3Hilliard Bradley(16-0)54-44,before losing to Africentric tonight 65-62.
