I was able to make it to the "nest" on Friday night to watch the Eastern and South Gallia game. While early, I don't foresee either of these teams winning many games. Both teams were held to less than 50. It seemed as if both teams had as many turnovers as they did shots. Neither team had any type of ball handling. South Gallia came in better prepared and Eastern's refusal to play anyone other than their seniors really hurt. Eastern could win games with their defense, but HAVE to find an offense. If SG can reduce their turnovers (more passing, less dribbling), they have the talent to be much more competitive.

It appears Trimble and Fed Hock may be the teams to beat in the TVC Hocking this year!

Glad to see Racine is, per usual, undefeated at home yet winless away. Gotta love those down home refs.

I couldn't believe that poll when I got on this thread that shows Wahama winning the Hocking. That was until I looked at their record. He11 they're undefeated so far this season.

Dont read into this one too far. Wahama benched a bunch of kids beacuse of some off the court activity that I wont get into on here. Need less to say, they had no chance with what they had left. I still think they have enough to easily win the hocking.

I kinda figured something was up. I haven’t see the roster of what they have but saying they have plenty to win the Hocking is a reach in my opinion. I still believe Trimble and Federal Hocking are the best 2 teams. Time will tell.

Hard to win there for sure. Worst refs in all of t. V. C.

Well normally I would agree that playing in Racine is a challenge for many reasons but wait until you make the trip to Belpre. I had to look for cameras because I thought it was a WWE event. I seen a flying knee in a basketball game lol. I would love to post the video of that one.

Southern lost several home games last year. The refs at the game against Trimble last night were very good. Southern played a very good game.

Southern is tough at home too. I think they are a little better this year than people think.

Fed number 1 in the hocking. I look for them to remain number 1. So many people are over looking them. They are firing on all cylinders.

We'll see if Fed can win at Southern. Tomatoes remain undefeated at home. But Fed will get them in Stewart, as for some reason Racine just isn't as good on the road.

Racine wins at home cause we turn up the heat. Can't take the heat? Stay home. The Hustlin' Tornadoes will run you out the gym. Of course when we go on the road we sometimes get cheated off the court. But that don't happen in Racine.

If you mean what you say you will do whatever it takes to make sure there is NEVER a league assigner in the tvc. We like our dominance at home.

Southern isn’t gonna outrun the Lancers. They are putting up 75 a game. They key to both match ups will be Southerns ability to run with them. I don’t see it happening at either place. Southern comes to Stewart this Friday. Early game with big ramifications for the standings. Can’t wait to see it.
