No better way to show your toughness than by flopping. You’re showing acting skills and the ability to land on the floor hard each time.

It also shows a high level of officiating to reward the flop. A lot of officials would look for contact on a play, but if a young man throws his head back he must have been fouled. Watching the play is overrated, especially if one player consistently is on the ground. That means that he must take a beating like a man.
