Good look. Not sure I like the timeout by valley. But it worked out. On to the next one. Great job Indians. SOC2 doing well tonight. And soc overall with western.

Valley out scores the Lions by 9 in the final frame to bring home a District Championship!

The BMG guys liked it, but I didn’t. Doesn’t matter now, but that was a really good look for Fairfield

Congrats to the Indians on the district title! Should be an awesome one on Tuesday!

Yeah, the BMG guys….. glad they did the game, but it was a struggle. With Fairfield not having any time outs, I don’t like calling one to let them draw up a play. Also would have subbed 25 in to guard the ball. But it all worked out. Good game.

Valley's intensity on defense mid 3rd onward was the difference.

Wow, great comeback win by the Indians!! Great game to watch even on the stream! Seemed like Fairfield started playing not to lose. Valley just kept surging.

Valley played rough early, mostly a credit to the Lions, who were tenacious on defense.

What I noticed as time went on is while Valley was making some sloppy plays/turnovers (they had 14) the remained patient and stayed with their game plan. If they don’t open the 4th on that run the game may have been out of reach.

Congratulations Valley . Tough loss for my SHAC brothers FF. Great game to watch. FF quit attacking last minute of 3rd and it hurt them.

Fairfield definitely played not to lose late.

They played a great game but the better team won. Western and Valley will be a fun matchup. Western is playing great ball and seem to be very disciplined. If they can limit turnovers they have a shot. If not Valley definitely moves on

What alot of basketball in my time.
Fairfield played really well.
It's sad in the district finals that the official's decided the game.... The worst one sided game I've seen in years!

Refs didn’t decide this one. Fairfield played not to lose towards the end and it came back to bite em.

The lack of fouls called against Valley was ridiculous, #24 is a heck of a player but should have had 3 in the first half. One sided but in the books!

I don't know where they came up with the 14 turnovers for valley, they had a lot more. They had 4 in the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter alone. My guess is they had 25-30 turnovers. I could believe 14 in the 1st quarter alone lol

As far as the refs deciding this game that is pretty much sour grapes in my opinion, i felt it was called evenly the whole night with as many good and bad calls for each team.

Fairfield stopped attacking the basket in the second half was the difference in the game. They had layup after layup in the 1st half and settled for lots of 3 pt shots in the second half

I pretty much agree with the thought about Fairfield deciding not to attack being the determining factor. They felt 8-10 was enough and decided to burn clock but Valley kept playing with unbelievable energy. The defensive intensity to continue to trap and chase was impressive out of the starting group. Fairfield had a great gameplan, but this group for Valley is well seasoned. They just didn't quit. Great atmosphere and wonderful venue to watch a game.
