Thanks for the updates. Sounds as if it was a heck of a game.
good building block for Webster to battle back in a super hostile gym against Da Burg. One more shot falls and we win. We swat that ball down at expiration and we go to OT and who knows. Credit to burg they beat us up pretty bad all night. Maybe they got 2 or 3 extra calls their way but didn’t affect the outcome . Wouldn’t surprise me if Valley and Minford take an L there too.

Northwest over Waverly 52-31.
Northwest played really sloppy the first half. A win is a win though.
Waverly's kids played hard.

Not sure which team is going to struggle the most this year, Oak Hill or Waverly? I probably just should say both.

This one will no doubt be a barnburner when the Vikings head up to Athens County for the rematch with the Spartans in January.

2 of those scores make no sense, especially the last one since it was at Chillicothe. I can’t believe McClain played Washington that close.

The Peake might have played better basketball had they not spent so much time trying to fake being fouled so much. I`ve NEVER seen a team fake so many times "getting fouled" and I`ve been around a very long time.

Just play the game

Redmen did a great job of keeping their cool

The difference in the Peake vs Rock Hill was when you shoot 8-12 free throws and opponents shoot 18-27 free throws.

This game started with Peebles taking the early lead. Both defenses were good. Peebles took an early lead but the quarter ended with Ripley up . At the half Ripley was up 23-14. End of 3 Peebles had come back and took the lead, but Ripley hit a buzzer beater that tied the score.4 th quarter was more of the same with very good defense and coaching from both teams. The Quarter ended with a score of 41-41. Overtime. Peebles took the lead with a corner 3. With 20 seconds Peebles was up by 3.Ripley 3 ties it. Peebles Turnover,Ripley layup and One. 3.4 seconds left: Peebles misses a 3 for the tie. Final 50-47. Well coached game both ways.
The SHAC is gonna come down to the last game this year. Anyone could beat anyone. My thoughts are :at this point of the season Fairfield is the best right now. That can change as the teams progress.

First real week of SHAC hoops and it looks like a fun season ahead.

McClain actually had Washington beat, but couldn't make free throws...especially down the stretch and in OT.
