What went wrong? What went right? Who shined and who didn't....heard someone from Vinton missed 3 foul shots in a row? Off night?

Hope Vinton can put this loss behind them and defend the TVC Championship tom night.

Kudos to both teams for playing this game, both teams came in with undefeated seasons and they both knew leaving tonight one team would lose.

It took alot of guts to play this game and it sounds like everyone got their monies worth!

Still waiting to get a breakdown of the game!

I applaud both teams for making this game up. It is my understanding that since this was a tourney game they didn't have to. Win or lose it is a good measuring stick to see where your program is.

I copied this off another site.. so I do not claim it as my own...

"Huntington 61
Vinton County 57
HT's Josh Kellough 25pts, Justin Kellough 24pts; Huntsmen 9-0"

Anyone know how many Guthrie scored for VC?

That's impressive.

Dominant Guards tend to have better success than dominant big men.

Would've liked to have seen this game.

ironman, It seemed like Huntington scored more in the paint than VC.

If the Kelloughs scored 49 and the entire team only scored 61......to me that is dominant........I didn't say the guards couldn't score in the paint....dominant guards typically score everywhere. Dante and Humpty are two of the best guards in years around here and they scored many of their points in the paint.

What a game!!!!!!

I gotta say, those Kellough boys are as advertised. This was a very physical game. The refs let them play. I think Guthrie ended up with another Double/Double.

Huntington did a good job of covering Guthrie. It left alot of open shots for others, just couldn't put the ball in the hoop tonight

How about those Ross County Teams.....from the SVC :!:

Do they know basketball in Ross County or what :?: :-D

Way to go Huntington-Ross on your victory against the McArthur Vinton County Vikings :!:

Looking forward to our meeting that most likely will take place again this year in the District against our Chillicothe CAVS and the Vinton County Vikings.

Good luck Vikings on your TVC-Ohio run.

Again congrats to the Huntsmen from the hills of Ross County :!:

Congrats to the Huntsmen one of our fellow Ross Countians. They look to be the beast of the SVC and knocked off a VC team that I hear is better then last year. On top of that, they do it on the road.

Big win for the Huntsmen and the SVC. I have watched the Huntsmen 3-4 times over the past two years and I noticed that they have very good role players. The Kellough brothers are very good, but the other kids deserve credit as well.

GO HUNTSMEN!!!
