Minford almost lost Wavery and West by playing this style and how do they lose to Wheelersburg? They clearly should be SOC unchallenged champs but this will not happen if they continue to play a 2 man game.
As the only person on the planet that was part on the mid 90s run, and the current run... I can say with all honesty this is possibly the dumbest thread of all time.
Other than the 1950s, this is the best era of Minford basketball...ever. The seniors won more games than any class in history, played the toughest schedule of any team in SOC history in 14-15, and have won 3 of 4 SOC titles.
Minford has not won a game at the Convo since 1995. That's four coaches and twenty years ago. You want disappointment and underachievement - look at the sectional banner for the year missing in the 90s run - Minford started a D1 athlete, the leading scorer in South Webster history, a 6'10 guy, a college baseball player, and had a 6'5 guy coming off the bench with another 1000 point scorer. They went 10-11. That's something to complain about...
Who was the lock down defender for this team? After Rowe and Kelly who could create their own shot? Minford was an athletically challenged team this year. We could not guard man to man, definitely could not press, and only had one ball handler. One of the starters was 3/4ths of the year.
Be happy that they won the league. Also "falconfan" you are not a falcon or a fan, so please change your I.D.
