This is a big 2 weeks for TVC teams in the sectional. One of the last 2 seeds will be wrapped up on Friday when Eastern heads to South Gallia. Eastern beat SG by 3 at The Nest and the eagles havent competed in their last 3. SG just got a huge win Friday which puts them in the 7 hole. This is what I think right now.

3. Trimble (could flip depending how tvc teams vote)
4. Southern
5. Miller
6. South Gallia
7. ISJ
8. Eastern
9. Waterford (just bc eastern beat them)

You're forgetting that South Gallia just beat Waterford last game and I believe they can beat Southern tonight and Eastern on Friday. SG also beat Trimble earlier this year and lost to Belpre by 4 and those are their next 2 games after Southern/Eastern so anything can happen. Southern will be missing their big guy Drummer do to an unfortunate injury situation. I hate to see any kid hurt but it could certainly make a difference in the paint.

Yes they split for the year but Waterford has played much worse lately. SG has lost 5 games by 5 or less so they've been "in" nearly every game.

But like we've said all year anything can happen on any night! Should be an interesting finish.

What year did the TVC coaches screw the non TVC teams? I hear this bunch of bull every year. Just because there are more TVC teams everyone assumes they are going to get screwed. I would like to see some facts on this theory. In 2012 Southern got the #1 because they had the most wins. In 2011 Reedsville Eastern got the #1 nobody was even close in wins. In 2010 Reedsville Eastern got the #1 they were 19-1 Eastern Pike got the #2 over Southern and lost to Southern. 2009 Southern got the #1 and the only team that could have had an argument that year was Waterford a TVC school. So I would really like know when this TVC screwing took place?

Symmes valley is now 9-5. They won by 15 over clay with 2 starters out with injuries

Nice win for Symmes tonight them hireing the coach they did was a great move for the school. Eastern won tonight 83-39 without Player of the year guard Chad Lands who didn't play he was sick but they put 4 in double figgures. And this win makes 10 straight. The Eagles are now 12-2 !

I think #1 is locked up. #2 is close to being with Symmes Valley winning one more and two less than Southern. Then i think #3 and #4 is a dog fight between southern and trimble. The rest could be anyones.

Eastern lost a heartbreaker last night to Fed. Hock. they had them beat. Outplayed them, outworked them the entire night, just didnt close the deal. had turnovers in 3 of the last 4 possessions, but somehow figured a way to go up 39-38. FH got an offensive rebound put back at the horn to win.

Friday's game means will lock up the bottom 2 seeds. SG wins they will get out of the celliar and that puts Eastern in. If Eastern wins they would sweep with SG and put Waterford and SG in the 8-9 game. It will be very interesting to see how Eastern rebounds from a tough loss like that.
