Does St Jude recruit? Seems like all these catholic schools hold down their enrollment and then get decent athletes thus allowing them to win state title after state title against watered down competition.

Ridiculous statement. We have 100 students 7-12. We hold our student athletes to a higher academic standard than public schools. Most of our students have a family tradition of many generations of St. Joseph graduates. We take great pride in being a close knit community. And sports, while important, does not define us, our character does. Go Flyers!

Will ISJ be playing 8 man football next fall? Heard it was possible

Yes we do. However, we don't schedule games through most of Holy Week so we can participate in religious activities. The week after Easter many go on a 10 day trip to Europe. We won SOC1 soccer, our first year in the conference. In the fall our girls will play soccer then rush and change to play volleyball in the same evening. St. Joseph is an amazing group of young people who are well-rounded and accomplished. Best of Luck Flyers!

I am not surprised. People from south Webster probably have never used a real toilet seat. They are used to having a log over a ditch to sit on.

The Diocese of Steubenville doesn’t let you play during the Triduum nor on Easter Sunday. In fact no Ohio diocese let’s their schools do that.

Congrats to Ironton St.Joe on there win over Federal Hocking in the District Semifinals. Ironton kinda taking over the Convo the last couple nights.

Amazing game!!!! Back and forth 4th qtr. Game tied last minute. Both teams with turnovers. St. Joe runs iso with Roach who abuses fed hoc for layup with 1.5 seconds left.
