Listen… it is WAY too early to be locking in ‘tourney run’ teams. A lot of the area hasn’t even laced up for Game 1 yet. BUT… there are a few squads that already have my attention.

Adena? They’ve come out playing real, disciplined, winning basketball — they look legit.
Portsmouth West? Absolutely capable of making noise. They’ve got experience, they’ve got toughness, they’ve got the formula.
South Webster? They’re one of those teams that always hangs around longer than people expect — very capable of a run.
Waverly? Lotta upside, lotta potential, could be dangerous once they settle in.
And Chesapeake — man, that team returned EVERYBODY. That’s a squad built for a deep postseason push if they stay healthy.

But bottom line — it’s Week 1. We’ve gotta see everybody play before we start talking Final Fours and banners.

There are definitely a few teams that look poised for a deep run this season. A lot can change as we get into the heart of conference play, but the programs with solid depth, consistent defense, and strong guard play usually separate themselves. It’ll be interesting to see which teams peak at the right time, this year feels pretty wide open.

Definitely washington court house. They easily dismantled westfall and clinton massie and they have practically their whole team back. Don't be surprised when they finish the season close to 22-0
