That’s an eye opening score and confirms what I thought. Could be a long SOC season for the Jeeps.

That 1-3-2 zone stymied the Tiger offense tonight.

Just like I said it would happen. Jeeps couldn't stay in front of Alexander her made them loose their cool and look silly at times.

A little surprised by the margin that the Tigers were able to beat the Jeeps by.

Yeah after seeing SW earlier I didn't really think they were going to be able to compete for the SOC title like some thought. As the season moves along it's looking like Burg is your #1 team, Waverly might be able to push but injuries are going to make that difficult, I don't think West is good enough to handle the guards of Waverly and Valley is undersized. As it sits I've got to go Burg-Waverly-West-Valley-SW

yeah right, watch Norm on the sideline I think the only thing he's playing is the music he's hearing in his head, nothing more than a figure head at this point

I have heard a lot of really good things about the coach at Waverly so to see them have some success on the hardwood is not a surprise. I will admit I’m a little surprised with SW only scoring 37 points but it might have been one of those nights.

As far as Coach Persin’s health, it’s obvious he is not the same coach he was 10 years ago. I’m sure he still does some of the teaching but it’s clear the one assistant is coaching the team. I’m not sure where Coach Persin is on the all-time wins list but I figure as long as the assistant is OK with coaching the team then Coach Persin will stay til he gets the record.

I have missed you. Football season tends to get derailed by the same person with multiple names. But you. You are committed to your craft. And I can appreciate it

Jeeps will be alright...Waverly just a bad matchup for them (size/physicality going to cause them issues). They likely drop a few more league games, but that's expected in a tough SOC III. By end of season, still a District Championship-caliber team in D7*
