Agreed. I think Peebles has the more uptempo offensive team and EB more methodical, defensive minded. Even if Johnson plays I wouldn't count out EB though. Beucler will have his boys disciplined and ready. Should make for an interesting matchup.

No question this is a relatively even matchup on paper. Respectfully, neither team has been actually tested against a strong opponent yet; or, if they have someone tell me who that is. Won-loss records can be deceiving, but regardless this could be a very close and entertaining contest. Don't get two unbeaten teams playing each other in January very often.

Curious to see how Peebles handles size in the paint and on the boards … when I saw Peebles in person the ONLY issue I saw was “getting after rebounds “ … they GET those they should - I love Keegan Puckett - but there were a bunch of “loose ball” rebounds that in my head I was yelling “get after the ball! Go get it !” lol… it seemed there was hesitation , someone else will get it … 8-0 says THAT isn’t an issue… and maybe I was in my head being too critical because Peebles DID get most of those loose ball boards! Peebles IS a good TEAM … hopefully Johnson plays at 100% … this kind of game deserves both teams to have all of their pieces able to go … should be fun to watch !

Holy Bovine! What a game. Eastern Brown 71-70 over Peebles. It was back and forth until the 3rd quarter..Eastern streaks to a 14 point lead, and then Peebles makes a furious comeback. The Indians took a 2 point lead when Sam Ramer drains a 3 with 9.8 seconds left. Peebles misses the game winner and the Warriors get the HUGE road win.heck of a SHAC battle!

Wow, I thought my boys were gonna get it done. Great game. Bo Johnson couldn't quit get it done tonight but tried to tough it out. Freshman Stevens came in and gave great minutes in the second quarter . Two awesome games as the Reserve game finished at 61-64. Next 3 or four years are gonna be classic.

Great Coaches! And both tea..playing mostly underclassmen. Just an awesome game to watch. A classic!

I agree. I'm in Fla so I had to see this game on SOSA. I'm still cranked by this game. Fridays game at Fayettville will be another tough contest for Peebles. Gonna miss that one to. Safe travels everyone and Go Indians!!!

Great game Hoopie74 ! I was sitting center court looking for you until I remembered you posted you would not be at the game … a classic ! Hoopie74, who knew that Eastern Brown would “out Peeble” the Indians when they blew open the game in the 3rd … the Peebles comeback down 13 with 3:15 to play - amazing … I’m in Columbus right now - yeh , I drove 2 hrs to Peebles and 2 hours back last night so I could get up and drive in the C’bus traffic this morning for an appointment… ONCE I get home later today I’ll do the game rundown & Napkin stats …

Johnson struggled with his footwork because of his injury, but; his shot was there. Hoping he heals more for Fridays Game. It will be a grinder.
It was an eb and Flo game last night. Peebles takes 1st quarter, Eastern surges most of 2nd quarter. Then Eastern cant miss a shot the 3rd and start of the 4th then Peebles explodes and storms back at 5:23 left in the game to take the lead with around 18 seconds.Then Eastern hits a 3 with 8.8 left to take a 1 point lead. Time out and Peebles runs the floor only tocome up short. I think Eastern may have got a hand on the shot.Game over. These coaches coached their hearts out as usual .

Looking forward to it. Eastern/ Peebles games are like that often.Its my fault the boys didn't win I should have been there with my 2014 Indians hoodie on. It worked for the boys at the district and regional semi then. haha!
