He did some things behind the scenes that were genuinely just disgusting... I won't go into detail, dig for yourselves, but it's just sickened me what I read he did. He deserved to be fired, and he has no reason to ever get close to a school ever again.

This thread needs locked asap. People are going to come in and say anything that they hear. 740 you probably have 0 details on anything more than what you have heard.

Original thread is public info (story from Portsmouth Daily Times linked).
Mods can delete any inappropriate posts. Don’t see any reason whole thread should be locked, especially with what has been allowed last few years here in Ironton/Burg football threads*

It is but they locked up the Ironton thread over cheating so I could only imagine what’s going to be said on here.

He did it to himself, shouldn’t be locked to save him, don’t be defending people like him my guy.

But yet they lock the Ironton football forum for people talking about Pendleton and Ironton cheating.

Not defending him just think it’s going to get crazy with the comments

From what I have read, he did some crazy stuff. I wasn't going to say what I had heard. I never said what I heard, just told them to dig for themselves.

Sad day for many in the Notre Dame Family and all involved.
My prayers for all of them.I do want to make it clear because I think many can read the wrong thing from your initial comments - to my knowledge there was nothing illegal and the firing was made because Catholic Schools have a morality clause in their contract.

I will admit I probably worded it a bit wrong. That was my mistake, and I take full responsibility for it. Definitely sad, I couldn't believe it.

You know what I think is crazy???
The press loves ND. Don’t deny it, it’s what it is. SOSA, PDT all cover ND on a 3x rate compared to other SOC schools. And probably justified because they have had pretty good success in all sports.
But on a day 2 unbeaten SOC 1 schools met in what might have been a key game in a conference championship, a game that had a clutch 3 to put Green ahead in the final seconds and a tip in on the other end to win it for ND.. nothing
No press, 99.3 who was scheduled to be there apparently forgot the address, no PDT write up, no coverage at all.
This might as well been East and New Boston on a Tuesday Night instead of a battle of unbeatens with SOC on the line that came down to the buzzer beater on the same day the winning team coach was fired for supect reasons..
Anyone else find that weird??????

So yeah I’m confused. He did something so disgusting that he got fired but nothing that was illegal. So if you drive while under the influence that’s illegal. If you sexually assault someone that’s illegal. If you physically assault someone
that’s illegal. If you expose yourself that’s illegal. Help me out here what am I missing ?
I understand that people don’t want to say what actually happened but Pandora’s box was opened with the initial post

Truth is out there, start piecing the puzzle together as one person mentioned ND has morality clauses in their contracts. Well, if you're a married guy you haven't done anything "illegal" but violated a morality clause really only one thing left. Now when ppl start saying how disgusting it was and all of this yet it wasn't illegal, now how long has the guy known the other individual? Like you said if everything involved isn't illegal really narrows it down.

Openly recruit athletes? They follow the same guidelines from OHSAA as every other school in the state. And cheat their competition? How so?

Wow if they are recruiting I’d hate to see how bad they’d be if they weren’t. LOL

The morality goes back to the time and length of the relationship and a certain age (or shall I say underage) of one party involved and someone under contract of a catholic school. Put 2 and 2 together and how long it’s been going on.
I got the scoop but that’s all I’m saying about it.
This is very Sherrone Moore-ish, except with some pedophila involved.
