Ironton / Peake Rematch

Early in the season, Ironton beat Chesapeake 49-45 at Ironton. Same outcome or different? With Ironton losing against Portsmouth already, it’s a must win for them in the OVC.

Personally, I think it was a fluke. Just like the tournament game where Washington CH beat Miami Trace. I think Chesapeake was not playing its best ball. Ironton is very good, yes, but Chesapeake is much better, I feel. With this next game being in Chesapeake, I think Chesapeake wins it. However, I do not think it will be a blowout; it will be a lot like the game at Ironton.

Yes. Chesapeake couldn’t throw the ball into the ocean. I think Coach Ater will obviously make adjustments and has much more experience. Ironton doesn’t really run an offense. It’s all dribble drive or iso for Layne (who will be defended by one of the best defenders in the area in Thacker). Coach ater one of the best to do it. I take Peake in this one and not celebrating like they did something special. Just another game for these guys
