Jackson @ Ironton 12-18

Post by Rhiannon »

So is this another triple-header with the freshmen, jv and varsity?

Sure hope to see more people in the stands than we had last night. The Tigers are young and I am sure will improve as the season goes along.

Good luck Tigers.

I agree. We need more people (and students) in the stands cheering for the team. I was really shocked that when the line-up was being announced the student section wasn't up clapping and some of the fans weren't even clapping. Very dissapointing being the first home game and all. With that being said, I'll take my Tigers in a close one.

There definitely needs to be more people in the stands! I was shocked at how many people wasn't there and on a Saturday night too... I'm looking for the Tigers to step it up this game and get the big "W" Good luck to Coach Lafon and the boys :)

The Tigers will win this game by 10-15. It is very disappointing that the tigers fans and students aren't supporting these young men. Watching Marc Carter and coach Lafon is worth the price of admission alone.

Hopefully the Tigers can bounce back after a tough night against Chilicothe. THis should be a competitive game.

ALMOST GAME TIME

On the radio at WIRO 1230 AM
On the web at: http://www.800wvhu.com/pages/hsbroadcasts.html
I have found that I need to turn off my pop-up blocker to get this on my screen.

Pre-game is already on at 7:15.
I'm not starting a separate thread for the game tonight because I know I will get distracted when Clash of the Choirs comes on at 8:00. I'll add intermittent updates instead of continuous play-by-play. I'll keep up with the game as best I can.

SCORES:
FRESHMEN - IRONTON 75 - JACKSON 17
JR VARSITY - IRONTON 48 - JACKSON 20

VARSITY - IRONTON 63 - JACKSON 48 [added later]
