A quick answer leads to an obvious pick of VC...by about 15

but every year Waverly seems to jump up and bite someone pretty darn good at WAVERLY and well...this could be much closer than anticipated.

This would be a solid road win for VC...one that could simulate the sectional semi or final

Does VC suffer a hangover after the Home loss to the Huntsmen of Huntington? Do the Tigers bring in the new year, with their second consecutive victory?

I imagine both teams have something to prove here. I believe the game is closer then some expect. I think the Tigers can still break out of their early season funk.

Very dangerous game for VC. Waverly is athletic and better than they have showed so far this year. I think it will be closer than most think with VC hopefully pulling out the W

VC wins this one. Look for Guthrie to have his normal double/double, and Prater should have a decent game as well.

After just realizing the game is Saturday, I all ready see Waverly lost another game in OT tonight, while VC gets back on the winning side of the ledger.

That said, Waverly will suffer a hangover tomorrow and the slide may continue. They have a brutal schedule coming up and they better hope the Seniors aren't starting to get Spring Fever and throw in the towell.

I agree. I think VC has too much inside for the Tigers. And if Waverly doubles up Guthrie look for Eberts and Stewie to have big games along with Dustin's normal double/double.

Waverly will not double in the post unless Walls gets into foul trouble like he did last year at VC. He controlled Guthrie last year and I expect the same this year. Hopefully Waverly can bounce back after a tough loss last night. They are making progress and headed in the right direction.

Until Waverly realizes that the Offense has to go through Walls they will not win .

I hope Walls controls Guthrie like he did last year. Guthrie had 20 points 10 rebounds and kept Walls in foul trouble all night.

I look for this one to be close because it is in waverly
last year the vikes won by about 15
but waverly returns almost the same exact line up
I predict OT
And Walls will not "control" Guthrie unless you mean he controls him to double figures
