Post by NICKNEVADA »

I don't have stats but my current candidates include Tyler Mault-East and J Howell from New Boston, big showdown this Friday!

I agree! The Shanks kid is an outstading ball player!!

My top two candidates would be Chase Dickerson (east) and Vince Shanks (western)- two very nice caliber players. A little too early to determine a sure winner, though.

I agree i think shanks is a very good ball player...but mault and howell are also very good players! it may be to early to tell but those are my top 3...go luck to these 3 and everyone else in the rest of the season!

does the player of the year award go to someone from the team who wins the soc, or is it based purely on stats?
side note- western will play east at home on 2/1, which i believe will be western's homecoming. the tartan's should expect a battle for this win!

im fairly sure that the Player of the award is based on stats...but im not 100% sure on that...and it usually goes to a senior but not always

mostly every year it goes to a player from the team that wins the league...but even if someone else gets it from a team that doesnt win the league they will give it to that person and a person from the winning team for co players of the year..

so even if a player has better stats than anyone on the winning team, he still would just be co- player of the year? thats kinda crazy dont ya think?

J Howell from New Boston is the best player I have seen from the SOC 1 this year.

You are correct. Shanks is a junior.
