Burgs defense too much for Minford. Burg was on fire and shot really well last night. Matt Stegman had a solid game with 12 points and 9 boards.

Not many good open looks for Minford last night. Burgs aggressive D set the tone early. Burg held Smith, who had been the main scorer, to 14 with several of those coming against Burg's 2nd team late in the game. I believe he was the only double digit scorer for the falcons.

Also, with Brisker in foul trouble early Minford struggled on the boards. When he was in the game it seemed Minford had more of a spark in the paint.

Burg is a much better team than what Minford faced in week #1.
