Thought the Flyers had periods in the game where they played well. Just got in foul trouble early and thats tough to overcome when your a school the size of St. Joe. keep your heads up Flyers and continue getting better each game. Got a tough stretch coming up next week.

The charge call against St. Joe in the 2nd half changed the momentum of the game as SJ was making a run.

Don't complain about it, do something about it. Why does your league not have an asigner for your league?? Pretty much all the leagues around Ohio now have assigners. This pretty much does away with getting homered when teams are on the road. Discuss with your AD about assigners for your league.

Ironton St. Joe is an independent. Outside of the charging foul(which was horrible) the ex- Hornet coach was the best of the 3 officials.

The game was @ CG, a member of the OVC which does not use an assigner either.

Great balance from Coal Grove on the game. Bet Randy liked seeing that kind of scoring from so many guys

Being the best of those three is kinda like being the cleanest pig in the pen.

Just because he once coached Coal Grove baseball doesn't mean it wasn't a charge. I wasn't at the game by any means and do not know if the charge was legit or not but COME ON, who cares what he used to do?

Missed or bad calls are one thing; missed/bad calls coupled with a possible con(ley)flict of interest are another.

Maybe Father Nau can suit up in stripes next year and return the favor. Come on! The man wasn't even supposed to call the game. A ref didn't show and he was asked to go home and get his stuff and hustle back. He did it as a favor and now he gets blasted. He is a preacher for goodness sakes!
