Fairfield has played some good basketball in there last 10 regular season ball games...they are a very scrapping team...but I like Oak Hill in this one...Fairfield will have there hands full...Good luck Lions...GO SHL!!

Defensively, they played a pretty quick, aggressive zone and crashed the boards.

Oak Hill should go pretty deep in the tourney.

And the kick in the teeth for anyone whose got em next year is that I don't think they're loosing anyone.

Wow! Since Ty Webb is impressed, that's good enough for me!

I'll take the Oaks +10! 8)

I certainly think that Fairfield matches up with Oak Hill in size, but the Oaks are much quicker and faster than Fairfield. Oak Hill's guards will prove to be the go ahead punch in this matchup.

BALLER1 wrote:Should be a great match up. Oak Hill from what I hear plays a lot of zone and Fairfield likes to slow the ball down. Both have some size but I believe the advantage goes to Oak Hill. I think Oak Hill has the guard advantage and of course the advantage of having a Hall of Fame coach. But like in the post before, Fairfield is playing hard right now.

I seen Fairfield against New Boston, I believe the only time they slowed the ball down was to get a last second shot before half and in the 3rd quarter with 2 minutes or so left.

Fairfield freshman Chris Cox is probably the best freshman in Highland County (that says a lot with McClains Zollo, Hillsboro's Eric Carroll, and Whiteoaks Joe Micheals being in the county). He controlled the game against Hillsboro against much more experienced players.

I think as long as the Oaks have assistant coach Jim Slone on the bench, they're nearly unbeatable. He's an absolute genius. Persin would be lost without him.

That being said, look for the Oaks to roll tonight.
