TVC....HOCKING

Everybody wants to bad mouth the TVC hocking...but the latest AP poll has Southern at #17 and South Gallia at #19.....probably not to many leagues in the state that has two teams ranked in the top 20!!! Heard the same thing in football then 3 of the teams make the playoffs!!!! Maybe its not so bad after all!!!!

These rankings mean a little more than what you think. They were actually done by sports writters who have watched the teams play.

really???? these sports writers have watched every team in D4 in the state of Ohio play??? the answer is NO.....they simply call in a vote for teams in their area and the rankings are just thrown together from that. again, there is really no substance to it at all.

Stop putting down the successful seasons these teams are having. Sorry they can't all be as great as you are. Southern, South Gallia & Belpre are all three good teams IMO ... Southern and South Gallia have a real good chance at going to the Convo - and even advancing to the regionals (with no superior team like Manchester was last year, its definitly a possibility) ... I mean, what more can you ask for? Winning a league title, a sectional title, a district championship and at least the chance to compete for a regional championship??? That's about as good as it gets for around here ... If the Hocking has two teams reaching for that goal - that's great. As for Belpre, its too bad their in DIII - but a trip to the Convo is definitly in their reach with that D-III sectional being down.

I'm guessing johnny ringo never played any ball or if he did he wasn't very good or he wouldn't be so quick to try to discredit all of the teams today. Its sounds a little better that my team got beat by the 17th and 19th ranked teams in the state.
