From Japan.....man I couldn't stand it any longer, I had to come back down to the main lobby at the BOQ here at Atsugi NAF, Japan and look at the web site. It's 1:49 AM Sunday morning here in Japan. Way to go CAVS.....Way to go Ray. You all played with heart and it showed. The only thing you have to say now for all those that doubted you and cast you aside is, in a humble way....yes we lost in OT to a very good Brookhaven D1 School at home, and yes we messed up the SEOAL day of Champions game at home against an outstanding D1 former C.O.L. foe and present SEOAL foe, those guys we call the Zanesville Blue Devils, but dog gone it, we are State Champions

How about them apples....way to bring it to ray, humpty

What a thrill for the Great City of Chillicothe and SE-Ohio

I believe you all are the first SEOAL School to win a State Title in Basketball under the new guidelines. Portsmouth Trojans did back in the 20's while still in the SEOAL, I think, but that was under a different system. Trojan Dave can highlight on that one.

Again way to go CAVS you believed in each other and hung in there

I remember in 78..and 88,,how big the town turned out when we came back from columbus..I sure hope the town of chillicothe shows out in numbers to welcom home their kid...THE STATE CHAMPS, OF 2008!!!!

I remembver being in our gym on 9th street,,and skip hickman making the annoucement...we have to wait a few more minute to get started,,the cars are still lined up from here to Luccasville..and the gym was already packed :122246

Congrats to the entire Chilly community. I must confess, after 1 min gone in the 3rd, I thought to myself "Well, at least a southern Ohio team made it to the last game." The Cav's looked lost and resigned to the fact that they couldn't match up with Libby. But they regrouped and refused to lose! Can't say enough 'bout Hitchens, Chambers, Dawes and the rest of the Chilly team, they buckled down and showed their resolve. One of the top 3 games I've ever witnessed at State in the last 20 years. Congrats again, You'll remember this day the rest of your life. I know I will !!

I'm sure Nelsonville won it one year--if not they were runner up.
Gallipolis was 1st or 2nd too but before they were in the SEOAL

I saw trojandave on Thursday. I know he was there today, but did not see him. I expect he will post later tonight. I think he was holed up in some luxury hotel or something. He told me they had the internet. I am sure he is over at the Newark vs St. Eds game right now.

What should have been under Army's post was I think Nelsonville won the state as a member of the SEOAL or finished 2nd--and Gallipolis was 1st or 2nd but it was before they were in the SEOAL.
