If Fort Frye continues this tear it might get ugly.

Frontier has one of the worst FHS teams I've ever seen in all my years. No shooters, bad shot selection, no form, no height. Is it time for Kirkpatrick to finally hang it up? I remember Greg Morus got the kids to really play and I know there's some taller kids at Frontier than what suited up last week. The late great Hank Morus really had some spectacular teams. FF should name the score. I figure it's a 35-40 pt no brainer.

PS if you wanna down FFs schedule maybe you should look at it.Wins over River (12-5) 2x,Trail (11-5) 2x,Belpre (10-4),Shenandoah(11-4),Waterford (9-6) by 42,and a 4 loss to Warren.Compared to other teams in district it stacks up.Fort Frye has redeemed both losses so far.

if fort frye truly plays up to their potential, they can win. it seems like they let some games be closer than it should be.

Hank and Greg had a lot of talent, alas, Roger dosen't. You can't blame height, and little talent on the coach.

As the old saying goes "ya cant make a silk purse outta a cows ear"

Not from Frontier area, but I think Roger is a good coach.

Agree. Roger is a good coach. No need to throw him under the bus, I believe that his body of work in its entirety, speaks well.

I know I think Roger is a good coach as well he hasent had many talented teams lately but normally they can contend. Also the schools best athlete is really a Cadet. If things fell differently he would stiill be at FF.

You talking about Jefferson? Seen him play, and it's a good thing you said the school's best "athlete", because that's exactly what he looked like out there. Not so much a pure basketball player.

He scores about 9 a game and leads the team in rebounds.Normally guards the teams best player whether is be a big or point.Frontier don't have no guards to get him the ball.

I was at the Shenandoah/frontier game, so I agree that frontier doesn't really have any guards that can handle the ball. Maybe he needs to be more commanding though. Seems to have a real quiet, laid back personality, and sometimes in situations like that, you have to demand the ball. He's got the athleticism. If he can work on becoming a better shooter and ball handler, he could be pretty good.

Game day, Parents night at The Fort.

Cadets won't let this one get away, or will they?

Not in your wildest dreams.

I think FF will put the pressure on the Cougars causing turnovers. If FF makes shots early Frontier will get out of the stall mode.
