I'm not sure why - but neither Waterford or South Gallia start their seasons until Dec. 9th??? I guess its good for the Rebels since they need to get the football out of their system - but Waterford? I'm sure they are itching to get on the floor.

... not sure why that is either ... BUT I did see where Waterford played vs Fort Frye in the PVC Preview on Friday night <= as the reason why Waterford doesn't come to the Athens TVC get together ...

North Adams will start off the first week busy; besides visiting Whiteoak on Friday night, the Green Devils will travel to Paint Valley on Saturday evening.

Circleville @ Adena- should be a good matchup, 1st game for Adena HC Jason Smith

Madison Plains @ Unioto- MP returns a lot from last year, where Unioto beat them by 9. Unioto lost around 75% of their pts from last year.

North Adams @ Paint Valley- I saw NA at Unioto on Saturday, they aren't very deep, but Coach Copas will have them going the right way. Very good coach.

Southeastern @ Leesburg Fairfield- This is SE's best team in about 5 years, freshmen PG Dylan Miles is one to watch for, this kid is real good.

Jackson @ Greenfield on Friday

... is that Greenfield AT Jackson or Jackson AT Greenfield ? my schedule has Jackson going to McClain ... would be a good trip to Jackson to see this one IF that where it is being played ...

Oak hill opens up friday at symmes valley

pfloyd if you get a chance try and catch an Africentric game. I watched them over the summer and I don't see any D4 teams having much of a chance against them.

Grinder ... I am going over to ZT to watch the Bloom Carroll vs Africentric game Friday night ... BC is supposed to be the real deal this season as well ... should be a good game besides my Purple of Logan will be taking on Coach Petty's Bulldogs next Tuesday night here in Logan ... I'l; get an idea what we can expect from BC - they are always a well coached, disciplined TEAM ... this season should not be any different ...

I watch Bloom twice every year and they always have the talent, but they seem to beat themselves frequently. I have heard alot about this Africentric team and if Bloom Carrol plays like they have in the past this won't be close, however if they stay under control and not panic they can beat anybody.

I'm still missing a couple schedule's but here are the SOC contests I have for Friday:
