Mayo Officially Makes His Move to Memphis

Todd Mayo the standout guard has made his intentions known that he and his family are moving to Tennessee to join big brother OJ as he begins his career in the NBA for the Grizzlies. Here is the link to the story:

It was made clear in the article that he had no intentions of staying in the South Point program,which i'm sure is welcome news for the rest of the conference.After watching him last year as a sophmore i would have to say he is one of the best players that i've seen in the o.v.c.,yet you could see that there was a huge amount of undeveloped talent that was still within.It would have been nice to see this young man finish his high school out in this area.

saw a uhaul at the mayo house yesterday on my way to walmart the day we all knew and expected to come for some time

It would have been nice to see him develop locally but best of luck to him and his family. Nice to see the family getting back together. Was their sister a senior last year?

How do you figure OJ had anything to do with the residencey problems. These have been around a really long time.

It's never a kids fault when they transfer but he sure got some frequent flyer miles didn't he.
