Waterford beat Fed Hock?

Post by Rebelcat »

Are you kidding me? I pity those Fed Hock players tomorrow (or tonight) at practice. I bet Howie was so hot that paint peeled off the locker room walls. I don't want to call it the upset of the year to date in the Hocking because I have not personally seen Fed Hock play. I guess all is NOT well in the land of the Lancers.

I am guessing FH was a little over hyped in the preseason. That Waterford win over FF was a nice win.

Fort Frye has a win over Belpre and a 4 point loss to 4th in the state Warren. Waterford over Fort Frye a bigger upset

Waterford's record is deceiving. Their losses are at Southern, at South Gallia, at Wahama (all tough places to get a win), and home losses to Belpre and Frontier. They've played the top 3 teams in the Hocking very early in the season. They have size with Tate Lang down low, and always run an efficient and disciplined offense. This is an upset, but considering that the game was at Waterford, it doesn't come as a huge shock to me. FH has been good at home this year, but they are 1-4 away from Stewart.

Tough loss for the Lancers. Let's just say I didn't see this one coming.
