Oak Hill is the clear favorite in the SOC II this year and probably will be Norm's best shot at reaching the State tourney. But Wheelersburg is always in the mix and I look for Northwest to be up there as well. My Jeeps are relying on alot of underclassmen that will take their lumps in conference play but could make a decent run in the D4 tourney (I think they'll go something like 7-13, 8-12, etc.).

I'll say:

1. Oak Hill
2. Burg
3. Northwest
4. Minford
5. Valley
6. Waverly
7. South Webster
8. West

Don't ride off the Brug they are the defending SOC II Champs
and i think Northwest might have something to say about it to !!!! and don't ride West off for dead they might not win the confernce but they could upset some people just my thoughts

On paper, the Oaks of Oak Hill are the team to beat in the SOC II this year.

On aper...the Oaks should take it.

However, you can't count out the Burg.

Minford is loaded with talent as well and Northwest has the big athletic kid who might dominate the league this season?

It won't be a cake walk for the Oaks!

I'm gonna push. 'Burg-Oaks split games, Co-champs of SOC II.
By the way, is Oak Hill still D4 this year?

Waverly will shock everyone if a couple of freshman contribute and a foriegn exchange student performs well. The league is as strong from top to bottom as i ever remember it!
I will go with Burg winning it because of coaching, I honestly think Barrick is much better at every part of the game than anyone else in our league- they too have an incredible freshman named Whitley who i wonder if he will get to play some varsity this year.

I agree with sawdust on this and will say that Oak Hill and Wheelersburg will tie for the SOC. I don't know where their first game is but I will say that Oak Hill wins the first one and Wheelersburg gets better as they always do during the season and gets the second one. Minford and Waverly will fight it out for 3rd and 4th. Valley and Northwest will compete for 5th and 6th and then South Webster and West will try to stay out of the cellar at 7th and 8th.

No way Waverly is going to be a top tier team. Oak Hill is loaded. Burg is Burg. Minford returns as much talent as anyone(Smith and Price). Northwest has Leslie. Waverly will be a second tier team again this year..not knocking them but look at the league!

I hope Wheelersburg is at the top of the list but they are only returning one player from last year and he is a sophmore(Stegman). Who are the other players that will contribute for the BURG.
