Well since you asked in another thread Eastern, here it is.

If anything, it's a trap game for FF. With the big game against Warren coming up, it's easy for players to look ahead to that instead of the game at hand. MC hasn't really shown much all season. Doesn't seem they handled Frontier all that well either. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of coaching and team chemistry going on there. They look like they could have some players, but they're still a long way from putting all the pieces in the right place, imo.

With the way FF spreads the floor, I don't think they'll have much trouble finding mismatches against MC. It's pick your poison for MC. Either leave Wise in and risk him having to guard a much smaller, faster player that will force him to step out, or sit him and take away your post game and probably a good portion of your rebounding. If I were FF, I'd run the pick and role with Smith and whoever Wise guards, and keep running it until they stop it. Smith is a very good player, and a good decision maker. They do it right, it should be lay up, after lay up, after lay up.

And i'm sure Liedtke has seen some tapes or scouted MC to know that they do not handle pressure well, at all. Pressure MC, and they'll turn it over, often. Don't think FF has much trouble against the Seminoles.

Dspy:

The MC court is EXACTLY the same size as FF's court. 84' x 50'.

I for one like the old "Golden Hawk" gym.
Back in its day it was home to a lot of great games by some very good Skyvue athletes.
Next time you're out that way D'spy, take at a look in the trophy case (good history lesson there).

Dspy never got to play in the old Caldwell gym or apparently over at Beallsville. That would redefine his definition of "PeeWee" gym. The gym in Lewisville is the same size as any other standard HS gym, and seats a Hell of alot more than an old middle school or elementary gym.

Kinda sounds like someone is looking for an excuse before the tipoff, IMHO. :122248 :122248  :122246 :-D

And, BTW, Cadets win going away, in a romp. MC is not very good this year.

If you would look at their stats over the last 8 years, you would understand what he means. They never play good in the skyvue gym. And the place does feel smaller compared to places like waterford and definately meadowbrook.

Throw in the old Bloomfield gym, where the three point arc would have been beyond the half court line, and three point shot would have hit the ceiling.
But the Ullman kid led the Washington Co League in scoring. Seems like he got about 40-50 points on that floor, every nite.

At the half Fort Frye leads 39-29, Was 21-20 Cadets after 1st.

Smith 16, & Schwendeman 10 lead the cadets.

All MC points in second period came from the bench.
