SEOP 101 for Reporting in the Basketball Forum

Post by pfloyd »

... I have been posting on the SEOPs sports site for ?????????????? seems like forever ... fellow huddler/SEOPster Ironman92 enlightened me to the fact that the administrators/posters on this site actually wanted people to post/give feedback/opinions/support their teams/ support all teams, players, coaches in Southern Ohio ... it was then that I moved 93bulldog's and my Elite 8 over to SEOPs before it disappeared into some "poll forum" never to be heard from again - I thank I92 for saving the Elite 8 ... since making the move SEOPs administrators/the SEOP posters have , in my opinion, turned the High School Basketball forum into one of, IF not THE BEST high school hoops sites anywhere ... for a site to cover and maintain GREAT information about literally EVERY league, team in an area that covers 1/4 of the state! - outstanding stuff right there ... AND it starts BEFORE the regular season tips off , runs until the last whistle is blown at the Big Show in Columbus ... truly says something about YOU who support/love high school hoops Below the Line ... WITH THIS IN MIND here are just a few SEOPs 101 Basics we should all keep in mind to keep the SEOP basketball forum at the high level it has attained AND moving forward to become even better ...

... keep in mind the Basics for SEOPs superiority as a basketball sports forum :

1. We ALL "Agree to Disagree" ...
2. Support YOUR team/players/coaches with facts/information ...
3. Support ALL teams/players/coaches Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line
4. When reporting/posting on games please GIVE the final score #justsayin
5. ALWAYS throw in a world famous "Official/Unofficial" Napkin Stat

I don't know about rule #1 Floyd ... I like to just flat out disagree with ya sometimes ... lol

Otherwise - good stuff man.

I wish I had more energy/enthusiasm to post information like I use to - but after keeping the TVC web site updated all the time - it kinda zaps me ... I'll do my best to throw in a few 'napkin stats' and some 'observations from afar' as much as possible though this winter.

The best was when the #1 seed in the D4 sectional at Wellston was the Eastern Eagles coached by Coach Caldwell......and the #2 seed in that sectional was the Eastern Eagles coached by Coach Caldwell.

Eastern Brown....Sardinia main community. Southern Hills League top all-around athletic school in the league every year. NE Brown County. Far western portion of the SE District. Final 4 in 2002 both boy's and girl's. (Warriors)

Eastern Pike....eastern Pike county (Eagles)....main community is Beaver. Great basketball teams in the 80's. Solid SOC 1 basketball school every year. Killer volleyball program every year.

Eastern Meigs (Eagles)....state Final 4 in 2001 and I think 3 other regional berths since. Only Eastern with a football team....community association is Reedsville. Killer volleyball and girl's basketball teams. TVC Hocking dominators in many sports.
