The top 3 are pretty much a shoe in:
1. Logan Elm
2. Chillicothe
3. Hillsboro

4-6 will be interesting:
McClain, Waverly, Washington Court House
4 & 5 play each other so that doesn't matter. They'll be trying to stay away from the 6 spot. Who will be scratching whose back?

7. Northwest

8-10
Circleville, Miami Trace, Unioto

I find it interesting that, according to the Southeastern district website, the #3 seed will end up facing the #1 seed before the #2 seed. This is apparantly do to the reshuffling after the Logan sectional merges with the Southeastern sectional. Why do they not just disband the sectionals and seed one big district? IMO the 3(Hillsboro) and maybe even the 4(CH, Waverly?) could beat the 1 from the logan sectional. If you seeded the whole district, the better matchups would be later. I would see seeding playing out as something like:
1. LE
2. Chilli
3. Hillsboro
4. VC
5. Court House
6. Marrietta
7. Waverly
8. McClain
9,10,11,12,13,etc etc. doesnt really matter.

Why do they have a sectional in which the top 5 or so seeds only need to win 1 game to "WIN" a sectional?

How on this planet would Court House be above Marietta?

Though I do agree with the main concept....especially if the brackets are different than normal.

Fine, put Marrietta above Court house. The Southeastern sectional is still a bear at the top and MUCH deeper. I think they should do away with the sectional and seed the district. If you only have to win one game to get to Athens, what's one more round there gonna hurt?

SE 1 VS Logan 4
SE 3 VS Logan 2

Logan 1 vs SE 4
Logan 3 vs SE 2

Thats pretty fair to me.I think Marietta should get the one over Vinton.1 loss might help over Marietta 3.

Predictions
Logan Elm vs Sheridan- Crater is a beast
Hillsboro vs Marietta

Vinton County vs McClain
Warren vs Chillicothe

VC is playing some pretty good ball, but I don't see them beating any of the other 3 teams in that district.

I know without a shadow of a doubt if Chillicothe takes care of business they will be salivating to get back at Warren! The CAVS have a bad taste in there mouths after being beat by Warren. Warren did play good and did beat them so all respect due!

1. Logan Elm (13-1) won by 20 at Fairfield Union
2. Chillicothe (9-3) Idle
3. Hillsboro (10-3) lost at home to Courthouse by 1
4. McClain 10-5 won at Madison Plains by 29
5. Waverly 9-5 won vs South Webster
6. Washington CH 8-7 beat Hillsboro
7. Circleville
8 Miami Trace
9Northwest
10 Unioto

It is a tough choice between 5 and 6

If Waverly can win the game against Vinton County tomorrow, I think they are a solid 5 seed and could push McClain for the 4 seed. I am not sure it matters at the 4/5.

Waverly has "good" losses to Oak Hill (2 times) and Wheelersburg, though the game were not that close. Court House gets a nice win against Hillsboro, so it will be close.

In this Sectional anything can and may happen. If the top Seeds play their game and have solid D, they should advance through the Sectional. Anybody else can be beat at any time. While the records may not be great, the games could be real good.

GO CAVS!!!

1. Logan Elm (14-1) won by 14 @ Teays Valley
2. Chillicothe (10-3) won by 15 vs Columbus East
3. Hillsboro (11-3) won by 2 @ Leesburg Fairfield
4. McClain (11-5) won 8 vs Zane Trace
5. Waverly (10-5) won by 5 at Vinton County
6. Washington CH (9-7) won by 10 @ Amanda
7. Circleville
8 Miami Trace
9Northwest
10 Unioto

I think all four teams that play for a district title will come out of this sectional

Unless some shady politicking goes on that looks good, open post. You could switch McClain & Waverly but it doesn't matter, they would play each other.

gymratt was right, providing VC gets the 1 seed.

Waverly looked realy good tonight in their HUGE win at Vinton County. How many times has VC lost AT HOME the last 2 or 3 years?

tigers,

Just gone on records since the 4 and 5 doesn't matter. That will be a great game and the winner will give the one seed from Logan all they want.

If Waverly keeps playing like they did tonight they will be a handful for anyone.

Only twice in the last 3 years. Huntington beat them at home last year and Waverly last night.
