I'm not sure on the score, But I know Eastern won. And the person who told me said that they won quite handily.

Good... I figured they should be able to handle them fairly easy

I've been to enough of them in football and basketball to know that scores are meaningless. In the first place coaches dont coach like they do in real games. Everyone plays, and usually significant minutes. Not likely to happen in the real season unless there is a blowout.

Secondly coaches are active on the floor teaching out loud while the "games" are being played and obviously that doesnt happen in real games.

Scrimmages are what they are...an opportunity for coaches to look at combinations, strengths and weaknesses and the ability to teach in game situations where there is another team on the floor and game officials.

I do agree with you on scrimmages. However, these foundation games(most of them)are usually played like a real game with score kept and four 8 min qtrs. just like a normal game so I believe you can go more off these type of games more than a normal scrimmage and do believe ther is a winner.

The ones I've been to in the TVC have always been just like a game. Yes all kids play but everything else is the same and coaches aren't out on the floor teaching they called time outs as in a real game. In the end I've seen coaches and teams go for a win in all of them I've watched even though it doesn't count. The unfortunate thing in these is the State requires each team give them $250.00 per team to have one which doesn't seem right and then the rest of it is donated to a charity which is great but it looks like the only reason the State allowed it was so it could make $500.00 per game.

I give the edge to Meigs but Athens is going to be really tough this year once they get a few games under there belt.
