Gallia Academy’s freshmen, reserves and varsity basketball teams are planning a basketball shootout in the new varsity gym in Centenary on Saturday, Jan. 30, beginning at 12 noon.
Proceeds from the event will go towards spirit packs and transportation costs for the basketball squads. The public is invited to attend the event.
Players are currently seeking pledges from family members, friends and businesses or corporations for the fund-raising project.

I think that with the football revenue obviously down, the shortfall must be made up somehow. Hopefully, this fall the people will come back to the football games.

Due to bad weather Jan. 30, the Gallipolis shootout was postponed, and reset for Saturday, Feb. 6 at 12 noon in the new GAHS gym in Centenary.
