The last meeting Clay won 51-44 I think so what do you think it will be this time?

This being the last conference game for Clay and a possible shot at second place in the SOC I will give Clay the edge, but it will be close, since ND always plays Clay tough and they have home court. Clay by 5.

I see Clay winning this one by like 8 or so but it will be a tough one for them

After watching the way Clay played against East tonight, I am going to change my prediction to Clay 75, ND 60.

The last time Clay played Notre Dame the student section had fun last game chanting things at each other. It was nice to see the kids involved.
Notre Dame always does well against Clay. It will be interesting to see how this game plays out. Good Luck Panthers!!

If clay wins this and Eastern is able to beat green and SV this weekend, does that give clay sole possesion of 2nd place?

I believe it does triple d, but I cant find SV's record, I know Clay and Green have both lost 5 games.

Clay 17 15 18 16 final 66
N.D. 8 10 13 29 final 60

The final scores doesn't really say much about the game. ND was never really in it. Clay started out 8 - 0 and never looked back. They led 32 - 12 with two minutes left in the first half before ND hit two threes and cut it to 32 - 18 at halftime. They hit another three in the third quarter to cut it to 32 -21 at the 6:00 mark but Clay hit a few big shots and went back up 45 - 23 with 3:00 left in the third, and ended the third quarter up 50 - 31. Clay subbed out a lot in the fourth quarter and played the last half of the fourth with all 5 starters out and ND when on a three point shooting spree scoring 29 points in the final quarter. They hit a three with about 20 seconds and then hit an uncontested shot at the buzzer to cut the deficit to 6, but they were never enough of a threat for Clay to put back in any of the starters. Clay needed an easy game since they have South Webster tomorrow night. Very good balanced scoring tonight for Clay

BURCHETTE 14
VALENTINE 12
BUSSLER 10
DELOTELL 9
PORTER 8
LAWSON 6
DUDUIT 3
KING 3
(I am missing one point somewhere)

Good luck to both teams, maybe we will see them again in the Tourney.

The 3 Freshmen that were JV starters had to step up late this season due to injuries and combined for 42 of the 60 points scored. This was the last home game for some of the injured seniors, would you not have played them as a coach? Had ND been in full health there may have been a different outcome. This team likes the comeback game. Looking through my photos I saw one of the starters still in the game playing in the last few minutes (#22).

Freshmen
Lewis 21 (Seven 3’s)
Milani 12
Mader 9

And I would like to wish everyone in the Tournament Good Luck and No Injuries

I'm taking nothing away from ND, from what I saw out of their freshman, they have lots of talent coming up and will be a force to reckon with in the future. They just didn't have it last night. I can't tell you how many shots under the basket they missed. As for #22, he has played very few games in the past month, Missed two games for a suspension, then hurt his knee in the first quarter of his first game back and missed the next game and played tenatively the next two games. Last night was his first full game back. Clay doesn't really have any young subs. They have 2 seniors, a 6-6 junior and one sophomore, they just moved up a second soph who got in at the end of the game. So, in no way was Coach T trying to run up the score.

PS. Where can Clay fans view your pictures, are you the guy who sets up the remote flashes at the gym. I talked to you at Clay last year and would love to see the shots you get.

Yes I was that guy with the remote flashes.

I post my pics on http://ginosphotos.net2go.com

This is not an internet server so it's kinda slow but I don't pay high fees either. I mostly shoot from the ND side because my son plays for them. Hopefully you will see some good Clay player photos.

Thanks. I believe we have to play them twice, once in the tournament and at East with the regular season make-up game we missed.

I believe that we will do well at least I hope so. If we can stay with or ahead of them early then we will not have to play catch up ball. Hopefully we can meet up with Clay again on March 2 at Valley. :122249
