Chillicothe lead 16-9 after one and 24-19 at the break
Waverly came out after the break and started doing what they should have to begin with and took the ball inside. The Tigers lead 35-33 after 3.

The difference in the game was in the paint which Waverly controlled. Waverly was the more physical team and controlled the pace.

Waverly lead 42-41 with 3:29 to play with a Cavs timeout.
Waverly missed the front end of one and one with 2:28 to play and the Cavs called timeout with 2:19 to play.
Roback hit one of two with 2:00 to play to put Waverly up 43-41.
It stayed at 43-41 when the Cavs called a timeout with .52 to play.
With .19 to play Kretzer hit 2 FT's to put Waverly up 45-41.
Waverly used a foul (one of two to give) with around 15 seconds to play then Munion hit a bucket for the Cavs with .10 to play and a Cavs timeout.
Roback missed two FT's with .08 to play to set up the Cavs last chance. Turner drove to just inside the ark and missed a fairly contested shot at the buzzer.

The Tigers did a great job on Turner and kept him frustrated. London was pretty much a non-factor. He did have some blocked shots but that was about it.
Man can that Ragland shoot the rock. He was draining contested shots all night.

Two pivotal plays of the game: Martin with the putback at end of third on a circus shot and Sammy stealing the ball on a certain fastbreak by Turner. Never thought we could beat them playing them man to man.

The putback by Martin was the shot of the game and the steal by Sammy had to be the defensive play of the game. How about Sammy's pass to Kretzer on the break?

Waverly man to man is as good as it gets in southern ohio and probably need to play more of a straight up man, sometimes they help to much weakside and are vulnerable on the wings which Logan Elm will try to exploit again. This is an extremely talented group of kids who all can match up to someone and shut them down.
Chillicothe was not disciplined enough to work the ball for the open look, Logan Elm will be.

Stiverson has done the same things forever, same sets, same defense, back door cuts, ball movement, their gonna press and Hauserman will sit under the basket. They will look exactly like the first time we played them if you beat him it isnt because they tried something new. Very basic, very sound.
