This will be a good game to watch and should come down to the wire. I willl go with Clay for these two reasons. First, home court advantage, and second Clay is off Friday, while Eastern plays Teusday, Friday and Saturday, so fatigue might be a factor. Clay 65, Eastern 62.

Eastern has 2 games before Saturday so they better not be thinking about this one yet! Clay better have their mind on Symmes Valley or they will get drilled!

clay really didn't have any problem with SV. They really should have won by 20+ but kept making some stupid mistakes and with the 19 point lead tried to slow things down a bit. It worked out this time because they hit most of their foul shots. i am just not a fan of the slow down, because you didn't get the 19 point lead by playing slow down ball.
This should be a good match and will probably have a major impact of the SOC at the end of the year. Whoever wins this will be in the drivers seat until their next match.

Should be an excellent game. It may hurt Eastern being that they play tonight and Clay has tonight off. Clay will be very strong at home and it will take Eastern's best effort, but I think the Eagles will bring it. Eagles by 3 as they get a huge road win that would put them in the drivers seat again this year in the conference.

Eastern in a 2-3 zone now.

First half Clay broke Eastern's press and had several easy lay-ups.

4th qtr. being dominated by Clay so far....maybe the tired legs of the Eagle's are catching up to them.

CLAY 18 18 15 26 75
EASTERN 18 14 18 12 62

Clay beat Easterns press early with Cody Delotell scroing Clay's first 8 points, all on lay ups. Clay stayed in lead most of the first half but couldn't get it up more than 5 or 6 points. Game got really physical early before the fouls calls started pouring in. Clay stayed on track hitting a high percentage of their foul shots again. Eastern pulled out in front at the start of the third quarter with Clay making several unforced turnovers. I think they went up 4 points at the beginning of the fourth before Clay started pouring it on. Maybe it was fresher legs, but once Eastern started pressing again, the lay ups started falling again for Clay. Delotell ended up with 25 points on the night. Burchett and Valentine finished with 13 and 11. Bussler had 8, and Chandler King hit a couple of huge shots to bring Clay back into the game in the third and finished with 7. Porter and Graham finished with 5 and 3.
Two strong performances by Clay against Symmes Valley and Eastern. They are playing good team ball and need to keep up the intensity over the next few weeks of SOC play. Good luck to both teams the rest of the season.
