Family loses everything in fire-Prayers and help needed

Post by socfan »

The family of Brandon Walker, former assistant coach at Whiteoak and Cheseapeake, lost everything in a house fire this week. While they family lost all their belongings, everyone is ok.

The family needs our prayers and support right now

I figured that the SEOP family would be more than willing to step up and help.

Here is some information about ways we can help:

Tuesday night during the Whiteoak vs Fayetteville Boys Game there will be a Spaghetti Supper to benefit Brandon's family. The dinner will begin at 4:30 and run until halftime of the Varsity Boys game. More information on that event can be given by calling 937-442-2241.

Sunday night there will be a Spaghetti Dinner at the Living Springs Community Church in Mowrystown beginning at 5 pm. The church is located at 18 North High St. in Mowrystown, OH. For more info, call Pastor Kraig at 937-205-8547.

If anyone needs any sizes for clothes or wants to help they can call or text Brandon at 304-972-5597 or email me at walkerb84@gmail.com

Thanks to all who can help!!

MODS: Could we please make this a sticky? Thanks

I really hate to hear that. I know he was only in Chesapeake for a year, but maybe one of the higher-ups could get something going down here, too? Once a panther, always a panther, you know.

I do know that Brandon's family would be the first to help out anyone else that would've been in need as they are now.

Great family!

Earthly possessions can be replaced, not family. God be with you and yours. Let us know what we can do to help you and we at SEOP will make it happen. Let us know what needs to be done and it will happen, trust us. We have your back.

Somebody should set up a PayPal Charity account and take donations there, then request a check to give to them.

I don't think that Thanks is a big enough word to use to describe how appreciative we are.

Thank you to everyone on SEOP for the prayers, donations, and thoughts for my family the past week. They are safe, in good spirits, and putting the pieces of the puzzle back together. The outpour of support from Proctorville all the way to Mowrystown and in between has been amazing.

Many coaches, community members, fans and even strangers have reached out to help and my family will never forget it.

Thank you again on behalf of Kevin, Kelly, Bailey and Ben Walker.

Brandon and Leslie Walker
