This game is pretty big even though its still somewhat early ... But after seeing all the Hocking teams in person - I would not be surprised if the Hocking champ this year has at least two or even three league losses ... It important for Southern not to fall 2 games back of the leader, but by no means do they need to put away title aspirations if they happen to lose.

I dont see Belpre winning this game. Too much experience on the floor and in the coaching department for the tornadoes. Southern will put 5 seniors on the floor who know this is a MUST WIN if they are going to win a Hocking Championship.

On the other side, Belpre has played a MUCH tougher schedule and this could help them in this game. I think it will be close but I think Southern pulls it out in the 4th quarter. Also, the officiating will be in Belpre's favor. Sadly, this is a major factor in the TVC when it comes to determining who wins the game. I dont feel sorry for Southern if this happens because they consistently homer people in their gym as well. Lets just hope the players decide the outcome tonight. If that happens, I say Southern by 6. If Belpre wins tonight, they become HUGE favorites to win the league.

not sure about the 3 games this year but traditionally and CONSISTENTLY it happens with regularity just as it does at all TVC schools.

The officiating level seems to decrease every year. I think refs just want to get their check and leave instead of actually officiating a good game
