Portsmouth split the 4 quarters with Mason County, KY, but the Royals won the overall score. Good showing by the Trojans vs. one of the 10th region's strongest teams.

Portsmouth wins 64-63. ND had chance to win game at end and came up short. Either ND is pretty good or Portsmouth isn't that good.

Notre Dame came to play tonight and it showed. They played 4 quarters and got into foul trouble with Turner and Buttayotte* (sp). They limit Portsmouth almost the entire 1st half to one shot looks and dominated the boards.

Notre Dame was up 9 at the half and made it 11 on the opening possession of the 2nd half.

Kyrie heated up in the 2nd half and the Titans were forced to play without their 2 starters for all of the 3rd and part of the 4th.

Portsmouth will be fine, but Kyrie needs some players to step up and help him. It'll come as the season goes on.

Class act by both teams all night and after the game. Fun to watch.

Notre Dame impressed me, and if they can play that well and complete they will def be at the top of SOC 1 standings.

Thank you to both Notre Dame and Portsmouth for helping spread Diabetes Awareness. It was a great turnout and a very entertaining basketball game. Thank you coaches, players, A.D's, Key Club members, officials (donated their time), and every body that made this game possible. Hopefully, this event will continue each November and bring Diabetes Awareness to our community. Thanks again!!

ND will be very successful this year. They are long and athletic and could compete with most teams in this area of the state.. Looking for good things from this group over the next couple of years.
