What are the dates for this years Pike County Holiday Tournament in Waverly ?

December 29-30 I believe.

Thanks bengals05 & king kong ... I will make one of those 2 days to the House that Hawhee built to see what should be a very competitive Pike county get together !!! Eastern, Western, Waverly & Piketon - 4 good ones right there !!!

Waverly with the big bounce back win at south point tonight. Holiday classic should be a great one. Eastern vs western will be a war. Waverly should handle piketon but will have their hands full with whoever they play in the championship game.

Going to be some special stuff taking place at the Holiday Classic this year. I don't know that I'm suppose to let the cat out of the bag just yet but you don't want to miss it.... GOING TO BE SPECIAL!!!

this may be one of the best tourneys ever. It's a shame they don't either make western and easterns game count as a league game or guarantee they don't have to play in the first round. Making these two play three times is nasty.

Is there a special start time for these games ? or am I looking at a 6pm first game on both nights ?

... I like the Thursday night tipoff - gives me a Thursday night doubleheader to see 3 teams I will not have put eyes on up to that point - Western Pike, Waverly and Piketon ... I got a chance to take in Eastern Pike's win over Portsmouth Clay last week ...

Floyd I may slide over that way for a day.

2Nd time in 3 years the Eagles open the classic with Western.

Who makes the schedule? Should rotate every year.

It would be neat if someone would post which teams made it to the championship game each year over the last 10 or even 20 years. And who won the tournament.

I'm not sure who would have this information but I'm sure someone does.

Brown22 memory must be sketchy. Doesn't look like Eastern has opened with Eastern in several years.

You mean Western, I knew we played western 3 times Josh Thacker SR year must have been we both lost opening round.

They rotate it every year. There's only 4 teams in it so Eastern & Western will be opening with each other every 3rd year.
