I'm looking forward to seeing how this works out. School is under construction. The majority of the parking spots are now a grade school building/gym. Little parking and no heat. Don't even think the locker rooms are accessible.

Should be fun.

You mean the game is being played at frigid River H.S gym?

Play the game at FF then have the other game at River when the gym is ready...This is stupid.

Probably the coaches way of punishing them for that horrible performance on Friday. I expect them to bounce back and beat Fort tomorrow.

Fort Frye has 4 starters that are all scoring and it makes them very hard to defend. That being said they have no depth at all. They need to stay out of foul trouble. Should be a good one ill take the Cadets 72-65.

If anyone is coming to this game, get there early. There won't be anywhere to park

Should've agreed to play at Beverly. Barely room for parking, gym with NO heat, too bad for FF fans wanting to go to game. Will cheerleaders wear sweats? Will concession stand sell hot chocolate? Soup beans? lol.

No way River would have ever agreed to go to FF twice.

river wins a nail bitter 47-46, what a game. pilots were down 4 with 2 to go. cody caldwell burries and three and matt marconi gets a stick back to go ahead and shon misses 2 free throws, and game winner. pilots played pretty healthy defense. river back on track.
GO PILOTS!!!

FF played awful.Made only few 3s.Shon missed front end not 2 shots but regardless who cares about that. Refs were terrible both ways all night FF was hurt by Seth Legrean foul trouble. Can't wait to get the boys back to Beverly. Another bad game by Lang. I do think the boys will be just fine in long run.Smith 20, Legrean 11, Anderson 10, Lang 2, Norris 3, Brooker 1

So, was it like playing outdoors, or was there heat in the gym? All the pre-game talk was about how the game should have been moved to Beverly, which, if they did so, the second match up should have been played in Hannibal, but I'm not getting that vibe based on what has been previously stated. If FF wouldn't flip-flop home/home, then regardless of the conditions, you play at Hannibal now, which is what I guess occurred here. If that's the case and the conditions were less than "ideal", well, quityourbitchin..... Otherwise, take your lumps, and move on. Second game will be in the local confines of Beverly's gym, which has a mean temperature of about 94 degrees in the winter time.

The construction at the school isn't going to be finished until 2014 apparently. Flipping the home games would have been pointless. The gym was fine. A lot better than it usually is (which is it being hot in most years). I sacrificed seeing the good ending to beat the traffic, so I don't know how big of an issue that ended up being.

Pretty bad when people from Hannibal were apologizing for horrible officials.

Probably right after your coach apologized to everyone for acting like a child.

The Fort just not as good as advertised this year. Blame it on the refs all you want, but you got to be able overcome it and get it done. Good win River.
