... this one should be a dandy! you have a Coal Grove squad needing a "W" over either/or both Chesapeake and/or Fairland in order to put the stamp of credibility on an excellent season ... Coach Davis & the Panthers may not have the overall talent this season as in previous seasons, but CHS is the reigning king of the OVC - Coach Davis IS one of the best coaches/teachers of the game in Southern/Southeastern Ohio he WILL have the 'peake ready for this one - a BIG week for Chesapeake as the Panthers take on Coal Grove Tuesday night AND entertain Fairland in Friday action ... doesn't get any bigger week in the OVC than this ...

If the Panthers come out running and gunning the Hornets may be in trouble.
The Panthers will feed off the home fans and really push the ball if the Hornets don't slow them down..
as pfloyd said this is a BIG WEEK for the Panthers. The Coal Grove Hornets tonight and the Fairland Dragons Friday night.
OVC basketball at it's finest. :-D

This is a big game for seeding purposes in the Jackson sectional. I haven't had the pleasure of watching the Hornets this season but I have seen the Panthers twice. Chesapeake isn't the power house they have been the last few seasons but they are a solid ball team. I think the Panthers edge the Hornets in a close one.

The home crowd will be buzzing tonight at the Hornet's Nest. Great opportunity for the Grove to make a statement. Chesapeake still wears the crown and must be respected. Should be a great ballgame. If this one is as exciting as the triple OT thriller with Fairland Doc Paulus will be very busy. Good luck Grove!

Peak may not have all the horses they had in years past but they are a dangerous team come tourney time . Coach Davis gets the most out of his kids and they play in your face D and are fundamentally sound ball club .. This is a solid ball club ..
