Ironton should win pretty easily, but Barrick's teams are always prepared and difficult to eliminate.

Have they played this season?

I just think that Lafon is a great coach as well to where it will truly come down to the talent on the floor.

Ironton by 19.

It is tournament time anything can happen. Hopefully the Tigers dont go in thinking it is in the bag. The Burg is capable of being a spoiler.

I'm sorry but this is going to be a slaughter. Burg will not match up with Irontons depth, speed or size. Ironton has 10 seniors and will make a deep run in the tourney this year.

The burg is a very athletic team that if they get the hot hand can be a hand full! With that being said and no one giving them a chance expect a close one. Would rather play Portsmouth again because they knew they were beat!! This burg team won't quit and what better way to prove it than to knock off the big boys of southern Ohio! The equivalent of of knocking them out in baseball.. Lets go TIGERS!! Put your game face on and let's complete this mission!! One Goal!!!

Obviously, Ironton is a huge favorite as they should be. Everyone is expecting a 20+ point win for them and it very well could end up that way. As far as Burg goes, this is a game they can come in and play loose with no pressure at all. If someone gets hot from the outside, who knows what could happen. The biggest concern is Ironton's size advantage, as is the case with nearly every team we play. I'm sure Coach Barrick will use the next few days to get a game play together to give the kids a chance to win.

GO PIRATES!

i agree with the posters here. nobody can go into their next game thinking that it's over for the opponent. you lose here, you're done. -----------get ready for baseball or track. and either way you've had a great season to get this far.
but it's time to soar like eagles, put your game face on, and really play focused.
HAVE A GREAT GAME FIGHTING TIGERS.

Marshallman thanks for your confidence, but at this stage of the game we can't overlook anyone. We only have 7 seniors, and hopefully we will make a deep tourney run. I just have seen too many upsets to rule anyone out. The Tigers have got to stay focused and take one game at a time.

It would be a shame if Ironton only scores 60 on Burg. It'll be a miracle if Burg can put up atleast 40 points. Ironton by atleast 20+. Anything Less will be a shocker.

The score might be a little closer. I look for Ironton to coast in the 4th.

Dr. Lou, you probably ought to put Barrick on speed dial then!

The REAL miricle would be if Ironton was playing the Trojans on the 22nd since the Trojans lost to the hapless burg on Monday night..

For what its worth, to all you Tiger fans and Basketball Junkies... Boys and Girls playoff tickets are on sale at the Ironton Bus Garage and Iron City Hardware in Ironton. Purchase in advance so that Ironton can get a percentage of the sales. At the gate Ironton gets nothing... and it cost you more $$$$
Boys $5.00 in advance (Sec.)
Girls $6.00 in advance (Dist.)

Thanks in advance for all your support.
GO TIGERS !

Ironton just too much for the Pirates. No barn burner here.
