Coach John Derrow passes away

One of the leading figures in southeastern Ohio basketball passed away yesterday.

John Derrow, who coached the Wellston Golden Rockets basketball program during two different stints, was the father of Jim Derrow who also coached the Golden Rockets and John Derrow, Jr who was an outstanding basketball player, coach, and subsequently a very highly respected football and basketball official.

Please share in prayer and in thoughts for his wife Martha, and his surviving children John, Chris, and Megan and daughter-in-law Sherri and the grandchildren.
