Heard Gibson and Davidson quit the team at ZT. Any truth to this? If so that is a lot of players lost from that program since Koker took over.
How is Uniotos division looking this year? Will they be able to make a run in the tournament?

I can confirm Gibson did quit. Another bench player also. Davidson was not at the Logan Elm game last night so I wouldnt be surprised but did not hear for sure.

Unioto is the favorite in D2 again, but there's definitely some very good competition.WhiskeyTwoFive wrote: How is Uniotos division looking this year? Will they be able to make a run in the tournament?
Vinton County and Meigs are unbeaten; Warren and Washington CH are very good guard oriented teams; Logan Elm is Logan Elm; Circleville is inconsistent, but can beat anyone on a given night; Chillicothe and Miami Trace are very athletic.
I haven't seen Meigs, so I can't really comment on them, but the rest of the team's all have a certain strength that could give Unioto problems, but none have their depth or different ways that they can score. I think VC, Circleville, or Washington would be the toughest test for the Shermans.

Disappointing to hear that about ZT. I felt like they had a good team that could mesh well for a tournament run. Still, they have Pierce and that will give them a good chance to win every time out. I feel like the Wolff kid is an underrated athlete, he'll do the dirty work that will help them with a shorter rotation.

This basketball league has been awful in non-league play this year. Usually football is the only sport in the SVC that cannot keep up with others in southern Ohio.

11-26 so far in the nonleague. Not a good showing at all. I see a lot of low seeds come tournament time, going to be hard to get 3 to the Convo this year.
